Crooked Lake is found approximately 68 miles or 35 km north east of 100 Mile House in the Cariboo Interior Region of British Columbia. 100 Mile House is a 5 hour drive from the Canada/US International Border crossing.

Coming from Seattle, take I-5 North to Bellingham, Washington. Exit for Sumas, Canada/US Border Crossing. Continue north for 2 miles to the Trans-Canada Highway #1 to Cache Creek. Simply continue north on Highway 97 to 100 Mile House. One mile north of 100 Mile House, turn right at the Resort Lakes/Canim Lake sign and proceed to the village of Forest Grove. At the STOP sign in Forest Grove (Esso Gas Station & Store), turn right again. Proceed to and along Canim Lake to Eagle Creek, where the gravel road begins. You are now approximately 30 miles from the resort. Ten miles from the beginning of the gravel road, the road will fork, KEEP TO THE LEFT and continue to Hendrix Lake. You are now 16 miles from the resort. Continue on and follow the signs to Crooked Lake.

This area is a photographer’s paradise with families of deer wandering through the property, right up to the front of your cottage. You’ll also see osprey, bald eagles and loons right over the lake.

The beach area on Crooked Lake is great for young and older swimmers alike, with a gentle slope to deeper water. Clear, clean water and sandy areas make water play enjoyable.
