Victor Island is a private 16 acre island in Muchalat Inlet, near the town of Gold River. Gold River is on the west side of Vancouver Island and can be reached by road from Campbell River. Access is also possible by air (float plane) and by boat with passage from the Pacific Ocean and through historic and beautiful Nootka Sound.

Alternatively, freshwater fishing is excellent in both the Gold River itself and the many freshwater lakes surrounding the area. The Gold River is considered to be one of the premiere steelhead fishing rivers in the province and many of the lakes in the area are stocked with cutthroat and Rainbow trout.
