174 acres with over 4000 feet of frontage on the Fraser River, 65 km north west of McBride,BC  160 km east of Prince George, 200 km west of Jasper. It is unusual in these times to find a property that has not been logged or seriously developed. This is such a place. In a pristine state with 10,000 cubic meters of standing spruce timber, excellent river silt soil and two acre natural pond, this property is a rare and unique piece of the British Columbia wilderness.

The property is mostly level or gently sloping to the south west, forested except for the clearing around the two 1980s vintage log buildings in good condition. Remote and isolated, it is one of only three privately owned properties on the north side of the Fraser along this stretch, bordered on three sides by the river or crown land. Road access could be developed however current access is by boat.

This section of the upper Fraser meanders through the Rocky Mountain trench between the Cariboo and Rocky Mountains. One of the least developed areas in Central British Columbia. Far from major industries, the air is clean and fresh, and the water unpolluted. Wildlife abounds; ungulates, predators and migratory birds; moose, elk, deer, bear, wolves, and coyotes being the most common.

The property would make an excellent retreat property where absolute privacy is desired, a private getaway or an investment to hold as timber prices increase.
