I grew up at Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island and still have family on the island.  I worked in the Public Service Commission in Victoria, then moved to the Lower Mainland and worked in the Ministry of Agriculture in Cloverdale and the Ministry of Environment, Water Management in Surrey.  In 1989 I decided to change careers and became a realtor with Block Brothers and then shortly afterwards transferred to the Sutton Group.

The combination of my experience in government, particularly the Ministry of Environment, Water Management Branch introduced me to planning, development and design in properties.  As a result, this experience was an advantage for my real estate career, allowing me to be successful early on.  A few years later I took the Agents Course at UBC as well, I owned and operated several small and successful businesses which also enhanced my experience in dealing with people. 

In 2000 my husband and I decided to build a home at Gower Point in Gibsons which we had used as recreational property for the past 12 years.  In 2002 we moved to Gibsons permanently where I re-launched my career in real estate on the Coast.  I now own and manage Sutton West Coast Realty located in Gibsons Landing which is the gateway to the Coast allowing our company to sell real estate from Gibsons to Pender Harbour.

I love what I do and I love where I live.  Real Estate is a passion of mine.
